The Northern Territory Government bestows scholarships upon meritorious international students, enabling their academic pursuit in Australia’s Northern Territory.
Eligibility and Application Criteria
Prospective candidates must:
- Have procured an admission offer for studies within the NT.
- Exhibit an outstanding academic record, along with community involvement and leadership.
- Be accepted by one of the NT’s listed education or training providers.
- Fulfill the academic and English proficiency standards of the NT education provider.
- Reside outside the NT, planning to relocate at the time of application.
- Not currently reside in the NT or be enrolled with an NT education provider.
- Refrain from holding other scholarships (excluding Charles Darwin University Global Merit Scholarship).
- Submit a completed scholarship application form to Study NT.
- Not be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or New Zealand citizen.
Scholarship Benefits
The scholarships are valued at:
- English Language (ELICOS): $2,500
- Vocational Education and Training: $3,750
- Schools: $5,000
- Higher Education: $6,000
These amounts are allocated for the first semester or year of tuition fees.

Application Deadlines
For Charles Darwin University:

Application Procedure
Complete the application form and submit it to Study NT.
Assessment Process
Study NT, in conjunction with the participating education provider, will evaluate your application.
Upon Successful Application
Successful applicants will be notified by Study NT and must sign an agreement letter affirming compliance with the scholarship criteria and terms within two weeks of receiving the endorsement letter.
Scholarship Disbursement
Scholarship funds are paid directly to the education provider, reducing the tuition fees accordingly.
